Three British Teens Feared to Have Travelled to Seria to Join ISIS

Police are attempting to trace three East London schoolgirls who may have travelled to Syria to join Isis. Shamima Begum, 15, Kadiza Sultana, 16, and a third 15-year-old female whose parents have asked is not named were last seen on Tuesday morning when they told parents they would be out for the day.

But the trio, described by teachers at Bethnal Green Academy school as ‘straight-A students’, instead met and travelled to Gatwick Airport, where they boarded a Turkish Airlines flight that landed in Istanbul that evening. Authorities are concerned the three girls intend to go to Isis-controlled Syria to join the terror group.
