Southampton and QPR are monitoring AIK Stockholm striker Kennedy Igboananike.
Igboananike, 25, joined the Swedish side two years ago and boasts a record of a goal in every three appearances.
The Nigerian-born striker saw a proposed move to the Saints collapse last year due to red-tape but has since qualified for Swedish citizen.
Championship side Wolves had also been linked with the player but have signedSunderland striker Danny Graham on loan.
AIK Stockholm would ideally like to retain the services of a player that has notched 22 times in 63 appearances for them and reward him with a new deal.
His present contract has a release clause of just £600,000 which clubs would have no trouble meeting.
