Sterling has been in negotiations with the Reds for weeks over a new deal, with the Anfield outfit desperate to tie him down to fresh terms.

But the Daily Telegraph reports that despite Liverpool offering to increase his current £30,000-a-week salary to £70,000-a-week, he’s not happy with those terms.

A source told the paper: ‘it’s nowhere near acceptable.’

Ouch.

Liverpool still remain hopeful Sterling will put pen-to-paper on fresh terms, but Real Madrid and PSG have been showing an interest in his services.
