Manchester United have apparently made an offer to sign Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard after hijacking Real Madrid and Liverpool’s moves for the player.
Odegaard, 15, is widely considered the best young player in the world at the moment, after bursting onto the scene for Stromsgodset, scoring five goals in 23 matches for their first-team.
Liverpool had been in talks to bring the player in for a trial over Christmas, while Madrid had offered him a five-year contract; but now United are believed to have made their move.
It’s claimed The Red Devils have made an official offer to bring the winger to Old Trafford in January, with United scouts known to have been watching him closely.
If a deal can done, it would be quite a coup of Louis van Gaal.
