Keith Dorrington was found to be downloading bestiality videos after the Ford dealership in Dagenham, Essex, where he worked reported ‘unusual internet traffic’.
And the 55-year-old was spared jail by Snaresbrook Crown Court after saying he had erectile dysfunction when he downloaded the videos, which he said he watched to cope with marital problems and depression.
‘I used a work laptop and my own laptop,’ Dorrington told the court.
‘I didn’t watch all the material I downloaded, but I accept that I downloaded it.
‘I was suffering from depression and an enlarged prostate gland, I didn’t understand that the extreme material was unlawful but I accept that it was wrong to download it.’

Dorrington, who admitted four charges of possession of indecent images of people and animals and four counts of possession of indecent films of people and animals, admitted that he had been having an affair and said that he was in counselling with his wife.
Sentencing him to five months imprisonment suspended for two years, Judge Louise Kamill said the images contained an act which could result in ‘serious injury to a person’s genitals’.
