Angel Di Maria Too Sloppy In Possession Says Carlo Ancelotti
Running man: Di Maria has become known for his surges through midfield

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti claims Angel Di Maria is too sloppy in possession.

Real sold Di Maria to Manchester United for a British record £59.7million and Ancelotti was sorry to lose the Argentina World Cup winger.

However he claimed Di Maria’s weakness is that he gives the ball away too easily.

Ancelotti made the claim when he was asked to compare Di Maria and Real’s latest Galactico James Rodriguez.

“People should think twice before saying that James can fill Di Maria’s boots, because they’re very different players,” he told Radio Onda Cero.

“Di Maria could take matches by storm with his energy, but he also used to lose control sometimes, misplacing important passes.”
